Always has the best shrimp here. And it taste fresh every time. Highly recommend this place. Crawfish great, love their crab fries especially their sauce.

The drinks were also wonderful. Our waiter could not have been any better! He was wonderful d made us feel special and taken care of. This is not inexpensive but totally worth it! If we got hungry to Crawdaddy Restaurant we will go again for sure. Love!

Honestly it was the best catfish and fries I have ever had! Portions were gigantic, price was good. Fish was fresh crisp and nice size. The fries I had were Cajun. They were very yummy and cooked to perfection. Nice golden not too crispy and not soft and/or limp. Didn't need any condiments well maybe lime on fish. To me that's perfection, when no need flavoring is needed to add to the presented dish! My compliments to the cook! Definitely a place to go!

In love from the first bite. These fries are a must try! Staff was super friendly as well. Very good service. Props to them it gets very busy I've noticed. Give it a try!

Went here on recommendation if a colleague. Place is in the SJ area known as Vietnamese Town. You order your seafood by the kind, heat, and lbs of good you want. We had mild shrimp ( comes with heads and all), med shrimp, catfish, crab and gumbo. All the good comes in a bag with the sauce and you eat with your hands. The mild comes in a garlic butter sauce which was very good. My favorite was the medium heat as it was perfect and just the right amount of sing to make you sweat. My favorite seafood was the crab. It comes as a whole crab in the bag of spices. You pull off the claws and then have them open up the claw body for the best parts. The food was so good and for 6 people only came to $35 ea and we were stuffed. You will get messy and you do eat with your hands but it's so good!

We placed an order for Memorial day weekend and ordered 4 pounds of mild sauce shrimp and 1 pound of shrimp with only butter and garlic for my Mom who doesn't eat spicy food but for some reason that pound was spicy so I called them to see what had happened and the guy at the counter offered to make a new batch with only and garlic at no charge. Mom was so happy that she got to eat her 🍤 thanks Crawdaddy! You saved the day!

Weak sauce ..I have tried them all ..y'all need to go try hot crab in Dublin or poorboys Cajun kitchen in Santa Clara ...this will give you an exact idea of what your lacking on flavor ..FYI I grew up in Louisiana and was eating crawfish and shrimp since I was cutting teeth ..trust me

I told my friends about this place with my warmest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The dishes they serve are flavorable and the stuff is efficient and cooperative. always when we eat in this place we pass a lovely evening. highly recommended.

Overall I think it was an alright place. We ordered a ton of food to get a good experience. Facebook gave us a buy one, get one free Loaded Crab Fries. The only issue is the crab cake out cold on luke warm fries. The flavor was good though. That sauce on the fries was superb. The catfish was really good, but some parts were over seasoned. The gumbo was a fail, and we love gumbo. The deep fried oysters were so-so, nothing to rave over. Last, the fries, Cajun and regular, were pretty good, no complaints there. But I didn't really care for the sweet potato fries. I would come back to try the whole crab, they were out on our visit.

I went with a friend and since we dont eat spicy we just had the butter garlic. Both of us felt the shrimp could've been seasoned a little better. The fried oysters could've also had more seasoning. The garlic noodles were good.

What a great find. Love this little place with some terrific seafood. Fresh, fun, authentic, good food. We had the gumbo with a side of Cajun fries. The gumbo was hearty and tasty with a little kick to it. It was still quite busy for later on a Friday evening - and everyone seemed to be enjoying their messy finger-licking meals.

Unlike a lot of the other places, they usually have fresh Crawfish. My go-to Crawfish restaurant.

this place has THE BEST CATFISH IN SAN JOSE.for $12, you get FOUR delicious catfish steaks and a massive amount of french fries. I've always split this dish in half and eaten half later.I also think the rest of the seafood tastes vastly superior to competitive Cajun seafood restaurants in the area, including Boiling Crab.
